Yesterday I put my '18 RWD GT on a scale to satisfy my curiosity. The scale had a 10-lb increment and I have no idea about its maximum capacity. The car tipped the scale at 3,990 lbs with a full fuel tank, basically 4000 lbs or 2 tons. The weight on the rear axle was measured at 1,910 lbs or about 48% of the total weight. This thing weighs a whopping 800 lbs more than my '8 Corvette Z06, about 400 lbs more than my '5 BMW 325Xi Touring, and about 200 lbs more than the '5 Cadillac CTS-V I used to own. It's a behemoth

Has anyone else weighed a Stinger? Which configuration?

The Stinger is indeed and big and heavy car.

The shocker for me is I looked up the curb weight of my wife's 2010 awd 3.0L V6 ford escape and it only weighs 3400 lbs. I'm like how the f can her car be 600 lbs lighter than my car? I'm amazed that the escape is so light.

Your right, the stinger is a heavy car but there are ways of lightening the car up. Now compare it to the GTR R35, that car is 3836lbs and has carbon fiber parts an costs $120,000.00.

Compared to my brothers 1982 mustang he had the Stinger weighs 1100lbs more then that car, but he gutted the inside of his car out. Newer cars more electronics and safety in the car. I don't care how much it weighs, I'm not out to race the Stinger on track, I'm out to look good why I'm driving and to blow someone's doors off who thinks he has a fast car.
