Right. The OE US compound is ..... marginal? It has a habit of leaving uneven deposits on the rotor, and, IMO, has a major outgassing problem. So replacing the rotor gives you a fresh surface! But, replacing the pads with another set of OE pads just prepares you to do it all over again. It seems like some driving habits are more prone to this than others. I'm at 3k mi and no issues and certainly don't take it easy.
So when I say "replace the pads" I mean "replace with aftermarket". Nick Khar is the only source right now.

how many miles??? i went through a break in procedure with mine for the first few hundred miles and mine are flawless at 9800[wrenchin]
My first set were warped by 9000, and I’m at 14k now. I’ve never had this issue with previous vehicles. The only time I’ve had to break in my brakes was when I put track pads on my mustang.

do you feel it in the pedal? how can you tell?
Yes, you will feel it in the pedal and the steering wheel, basically the hole front end.

It really depends on how bad they're warped.

I am easy on brakes and I had the "warped" rotor shuddering. Pretty bad actually.
I did 5 or so quick 60-25 moderately hard stops and the shuddering went away.

I now use the brakes hard form time to time and they have stayed fine.

Welcome. I’ve tried to do the same thing, but I still get the shuddering after cruising.

That is just a band aid fix and honestly not something you should be doing at all in order to stop the brake from vibrating when applied.

BTW I've got 2k miles on my brake setup and no vibrations :D
