Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer is what I use for the dash. Ultimate interior detailer works too but I find it leaves a little more residue (shine and more protection probably).

Yeah, they were pretty equal at some point, but I think there's more activity in the other one. Maybe just because there's more discussion/information over there. Not sure. In any case - washing my car on the weekends is always apart of my regimen.

Agree with the big Korean waffle weaves. Super soft and absorbent with little grab.

Usually start with a vacuum and then if it's really bad pull them out spray with some Meguiars APC 5:1 and pressure wash and hang to dry. I've invested in tuxmat for my stinger now though so it's easier to clean than ever. Some apc and a microfiber.

That really blows. Hopefully, it comes out well. Now I'm worried about paint thickness - Will probably get some PPF ASAP, want to avoid this kind of damage.
