What's your Kia Stinger suspension plan?

Going to leave it stock, even though I like how it looks with a slight drop, I already have a toy on coilovers that I can have fun with.

    3.3 Stinger power development

Looks great Jonnytig. What size IC piping did you go with? How much bigger is compared to the OEM? Also in regards to the intake pipes, why did you decide to go with that design instead of something like the K&N, with less bends and shorter pipe length?

    ceramic coatings

prep....prep.....prep and prep. That is the key to applying any kind of paint protection on a vehicle. If you have worked with a polisher before and have experience restoring/correcting paint then you should be able to this yourself. If not have someone that knows do it.

This further reinforces my theory of too much heat applied when curing the ceramic coating.

    LAP3 USA Kia Stinger Tuning

The OEM spark plugs for the stinger are Denso FXU16HR11 Which means it has a heat range of 16 and a gap of 1.1mm. The next colder plug will be a 14 in the Denso. A good rule of thumb is, one Heat Range colder for every 75?100hp added. Hope this helps.

    Intake Thread

Sounds amazing, cant beat the sound of turbos spooling up and releasing pressure. [rockon] Not really surprised about the fitment issues, as it looks like K&N rushed to get the product to the market, maybe they'll make a revised version or a version 2 is the intake (maybe a true CAI)

How loud do you want your Kia Stinger exhaust to be?

That is great news indeed. Now I wonder if KIA north america will offer the same upgrade here.

How loud do you want your Kia Stinger exhaust to be?

^^^THIS is the right answer. We can have both, just add an exhaust cutoff valve and you're done. Of course it would've been better if KIA would've offered from factory as an option.

    Results so far

Very well done. Happy to see the aftermarket community recognizing the potential of this engine. Eager to see the progress you guys make with it. Any way you are able to do a tensile and composition test on the rods? That way we'll know the material they are made of and how strong they are, so...

Wow...first time I've seen that happen with a ceramic coating on a plastic surface. I am a car detailer, I've been detailing cars for 6 years and have been around the ceramic coating technology for a good while. I have never seen a coating cause such a reaction with a plastic surface before. I...
