Great review PAULSTINGERGT 300 miles with the RaceChip and no spark plug issues sounds very promising, considering the latest events with other chips. Sounds like RaceChip got their mapping done correctly.

They are if you unplug the device from the vehicle before taking it for service or selling it. However if you decide to leave it installed and take in for service they need to run an ECU diagnostic to troubleshoot a CEL then they will be able to see it.

Excellent review and great how to. The turbo noise is nothing to be worried about, the fact that you can hear it now means only one thing, boost level has increased. So no damage is being caused. Keep us posted with the long term observations.

Agreed. Piggybacks cannot be detected by dealers. Also no spark plug change/upgrade required as these are what could be called mild tunes using all stock parts, since we cannot yet control AFR's with precision. The only time you will need to replace/upgrade spark plugs is when boost is...

It is, but that is an accurate measure of how much our cars are putting on the rear wheels. All cars loose around 15%-20% power on drive train alone. So those numbers match the loses.
