A replacement ECU is $1,000. So, that puts the Tork tune at about $1,900 but with a complete factory replacement ECU for when you want it.

Here's the kicker; they still haven't cracked the torque management in the ECU yet. Once they find the code for that it'll open up even more push!

I almost pulled the trigger on this one with Tork. If the spare ECU was only $400-$500 I probably would have bought the spare. That way you can simply swap out the tuned ECU for original factory one when needed.

That's a bummer. John has been working on this car pretty hard. I was hoping that a handful had gone that way to support their work and to give reports on performance.

Hahahaha Yeah, plus a baseline of 290 seems REALLY low. All of the stock AWD's I've seen are usually around 315-325whp.

Correct. So Kia decided to offer a small handful of GT's with the ADAS Drive Wise package on the west coast. Every time you ADD the ADAS package, they throw on the 18". It's silly but what they did. Mine is a GT AWD and it has the 19" staggered set.

Yeah, that's still a ton of dough for a piggy back. The JB4 is only $430 and that's after they raised the price. LOL Even if you get the BT connection, app, AND the fuel wires for AFR's it's still only $600. Still 50% less money for very similar power gains.
