Magna flow upgrade

Just had my Stinger GT upgraded to a custom Magnaflow exhaust. I know they haven't put one out yet but Mike at Mike's muffler in El Monte did a custom job and it sounds great. All the systems I've seen are from the cat back but we felt to get the sound I was looking for could be accomplished by adding a 2 1/2 inch pipe and 11 inch Magna flow muffler from the first coupler (see pics) and leaving the rest stock. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Any idea which magnaflow muffler they used? Curious to see how it looks underneath. This should be a good alternative for those just wanting better sound.

I would also like to hear what they sound like on the Stinger, I've used MF on 2 liter eccoboost motors and love the sound.
They did a good job fabricating for you, congrats

Here is the clip. I would listen on speakers or head phones to hear the what it really sounds like. Not too good on phone unless you play it through a speaker or car stereo.

I think if you want more sound you can go with the full system. Or even straight pipes from the resonators. It's definitely gotten a little louder as the mufflers get broken in. Also down shifting with the paddles has a nice growl. Compare $370 to $1300 - $2000.

With the money you save I think an intake system is in order!
